Got a few bits to do, sorting out air correctors for the carbs and I need to see why the oil pressure seems unreasonably high.

Soooo close! Sorted oil pressure - the relief valve in the pump was seized closed...

Dash back in, 95% of the wiring is done, just need to wrap it all up and make it neat. Still got the slider for the heater valve and switch for the fan to do and then MOT. REALLY want it on the road for the weekend!

Well, I'm taking the day off to try and get everything working. Almost there now... The fuse box diagram I had was very wrong, so at least I've got that amended now, just need to write out what all the extra fuses and relays do that I've added. I only had black wire, so it's not going to be easy to track backwards!

Was just about to make a fresh update Eefy!

I've got everything road legal, all the lights and electrics work...

The thing I'm still struggling with is the oil pressure! It's still high, but not as high as it was - I think it's pretty much fine actually considering the thick oil that's in there, when it's got temp in it settles down to 50psi(ish) at idle. The very weird thing is that when revved up the pressure builds up to 90-95psi (gauge only goes to 100) which is pretty high, and the oil light flashes and the buzzer sounds. I've only known this before due to low pressure, but assume it does it for high too. Anyway, the weird thing - I've disconnected the standard oil pressure switch. How the hell does it know?!?

So, I'm pretty much deciding to leave the car off the road until I've sorted that out, and it really needs the carbs setting up on a rolling road. Get that done and it'll be awesome.

Brakes are feeling pretty fantastic by the way ;) Put the Wilwood 4 pots with 280mm discs back on with Mintex M1144 pads....

Major update.

Daz passed the MOT today! No advisories 8-)

Oil pressure light still flashes and the buzzer still sounds, annoyingly. Looking forward to driving to work tomorrow ;)
