You are doing a good job there mate, you must be a very patient man!

I have a VDO voltimeter from a GTX for sale, take a look in my for sale thread.

Okay with the Rocco MOT’d a few weeks ago, it was time to take those new rear panels down to Stoke and to the skilful hands of Markh. Today I got an update from the drivers rear, which was the reason why it was with him-

Gulp!!!! Thankfully Mark said he’d seen and repaired worse lol
And one of the panel offered up-

More updates to follow :)

That was quick, one of it all tacked up :)

Also seems its had a previous repair on the panel before :)

well another update from Markh,

Image

needs anothe skim of filler and its ready for paint :)

he's also repaired the standard rust patches in the boot where the fuel filler neck bracket is spot welded to the inner arch. If you not sure what i mean take a look on the arch right under where the rear speakers are on the arch and I guarentee you'll see what i'm talking about ;)

Your arches are looking good! Very weird co-incidental timing though. My Storm got taken away on Monday to finally have its arches done (only took 5 years). I bet you feel better not they're done.

Well though about time for an update, thanks to my otherhalf christmas present I now have these-

Image

And also thanks to my mum and dad for the soldering kit I got stuck into getting them fitted, I’ve soldered on and heat shrink wrapped the wires for the lights with blade connectors so the individual gauges can be removed if needed. So here is the new console as it currently stands, needs a day set aside to fit (and trace down a fault on the blower motor).
