Have you raised the rear suspension?

Got the Weitec Ultra GT 25mm Suspension kit which has an adjustable washer on the back for ride height adjustment..

Glenn said that the lower down you have this (lower down the shock, hence spring is less compressed) the lower the car will sit (due to the weight of the vehicle pressing down on it)..

But I thought the higher up the shock (the more the spring is compressed) the lower the car will sit?

At the moment I think its sitting on the penultimate setting from the bottom of the shock..

It does look jacked up at the back dont you think?

The spring compression doesn't change with the position of the spring seat on this type of strut. So it's a case of lowering the circlip if you want to lower the suspension. :)

Couple of updates.

Saved £190 on my car insurance by switching to MCE (underwritten by Chaucer) which Im pleased about. Although I feel it should still be less..

Also the alarm on Wildrider keeps going off randomly every couple of hours.

No idea why? Tried disconnecting the battery - no difference.
Re-positioned the sensors - no difference
Checked the door and boot switches - seem ok

I have noticed that occasionally when the alarm is off - the LED will stay on continuously but at other times it will stay off (as it used to)

I've also noticed that occasionally when I open the door (after de-activating the alarm) I get a beep noise which Ive not heard previously.

I tried to remove the fuse but it doesnt appear to be connected to fuse 3 (which I thought it was)

Any ideas people?

Havnt updated this in a long while.

So MCE insurance turned out to be a bunch of lying false advertisers! STAY AWAY.

Went back to Brentacre and happily paid the extra for knowing they covered me for exactly what I stipulated.

Alarm sorted itself out somehow .. no idea how!

I've got a few leaks to sort, namely:

Drivers side Rear Footwell drenched in water. (Im thinking this is running down from the bulkhead)
Drivers side windscreen / window keeps getting steamed up (probably the same issue)
Passenger side rear light collecting water
Rear windscreen keeps getting steamed up (possibly due to the above)

Last week the Radio died and my replacement wouldnt work.

Many thanks to Ian who came all the way to visit me and we figured out the head unit had gone on my original system. We replaced it with my other one but the fuse had blown on that. 3 or 4 fuses later (no 3 and radio) and we had the old one up and running in the car.

I took the car to Oxford for work and as a result I was losing power for a few seconds after a quick shift up.
More recently yesterday I drove it through traffic to Hammersmith where it cut out several times along the way, jerked forwards and backwards badly and generally wanted to die.

The fuel pump is again whining like a pig so I think this one could be on its way out too!

Upcoming bits and pieces:
Some movement on the Digifiz stuff (TBC)
Hopefully / Possibly get the bodykit fitted this year
Stainless filler needs fitting
