Drivers seat won't lean forward

Post by SciRossco » Thu Jul 07, 2016 2:50 pm

Hi I was wondering if anyone knows how to remove the upholstery from the drivers seat in a mk2 scirocco to get at the cables for the seat to lean as only one side lifts

Cheers

Its ok I've figured it out lol managed to do a quick fix by taking up the slack with a cable tie as only one latch was lifting before and I had to reach over to lift the other one by hand very annoying!

Cool, a temporary fix that you'll probably forget about now!

This is a really common problem. I seem to get around it by fitting fixed bucket seats ;)
