And I thought you did it all yourself

That would appear to be the route to take to get the old out and the new in.

Just about the standard charge as well.
Well worth it when you can see where you are going now

this is well timed, mines playing up, loose connection inside currently for aome plastic jammed in to get it working as a temporary fix!!! onyhoo Haynes tellys you to strip out most of the interior, drain the coolant to get the whole heater matrix assembly out then unbolt ot from the top, are you saying you can remove it from the engine compartment and just lift it our once the window wiper motor is out of the way?

Yes.
Apparently you can split the new motor to put it in and also split the old one to get it out.
I wasn't there when it was done.
Also I don't know if the whole wiper assembly had to be removed or just released at one point and moved aside.
Scrumpyone might be able to supply more info.
The going rate to get it fitted appears to be £25 - £30 if you don't fancy doing it yourself.
Good Luck.

Eefy,

I just spoke to my sparky, he said after removing raintray, the wiper motor & assembly (blades etc...) had to come off.

Then undo screw holding fan motor & a ring of clips by spinning it around. Then split in half & lie on its side to feed it out from the side.

Obviously need to reverse process to fit new one.

Good luck mate
