Well try the switch first, much easier and quicker job!

It's another one you can bridge the connections to test whether it's the switch.

Where did you get the motor from?

It seems as though I may need one as the new switch hasn't solved the problem :thumbdown:

Hi scrumpyone and a Happy New Year to you.
Here is the link for the one I bought

I also bought two screws to get my free postage (spend one pound to save four pounds, you know it makes sense).
The mechanic that fitted it said he had to remove the wiper motor for better access.
He also split the fan into two parts to get it in then clicked it back together again once it was roughly back in place.
This may help if you are doing it yourself.
The fan itself sounds louder than the old one but it could be that it is just working as it should.

I didn't actually 'get it in' myself :angel:

But the sparky who did it for me in the works car park said it was a bit of a faff.

Apparently he split it in two as suggested & removed the wiper motor to access it from the side. It just fitted. :thumbup:

£30 labour.
