I've just insured the 'rocco on classic insurance, as it is now a second car - invested in a £200 Volvo as a runabout so I can put the 'rocco away for the winter. £215 with 1500 limited mileage, with Heritage, not bad at all. It is garaged, but it's also modified, i'm only 23 and i'm not using my no claims on the policy and i've recently had a SP30. That would take some beating IMO.

Try Swift cover first, even though they won't insure Daz because he's too old, their internet based system works pretty well and it's very easy to swap between cars.

im with quinn, i have the honer of paying £1250 a year :(
still that was the cheapest quote by about £1500.
ive fount them good, the women allways sound hot :D
they wont insure anything over 20years old, i wanted to run my dads sd1 for a bit till i get the scirocco back on the road, but now im running a golf tdi mk3 estate.
they cover me to drive any other car thats got tnt which is good for a tp, f, t policy :)

Well just sorted out my insurance for the rocco, my renewal 3PFT, from HIC came back as £760, with breakdonw cover, paid over 10 months :o was not happy with that, so after getting some numbers of here i finally got it down to £380 fully comp paid over 10 months with Brentacre, awesome customer assistance, really know what there on about and unlike som companies who are ment to specialise in modified cars, gave me a quote stright away. The policy also convers all my minor mods, allows me to tweak the engine to a limit if 120bhp, so exhaust and performance filter not a problem and change the wheels at no extra cost :) very happy, i would highly recommend them.

the worst quote i got of performance direct was for over £1000, fully comp!!!!!! i'm 32 lol

I'm also with Lancaster, and have been for 4 years. Best price I thought for classic insurance on their limited mileage classic cover. They also do the guaranteed valuation service which is pretty good. My car well covered with them and carries a handsome guaranteed payout value. Bit of a pain having to send them a new set of photos every year, but suppose this is worth it in the long run.
