Hello Everyone! New to the forum. Currently own a 1985 Mars Red 1.8 GT-S auto in original and standard condition, but owned a 1983 1.6 GTS back in the 90s that I paid £40 for and saved from the breakers; always regretted selling it! I'm fairly sure that my current Scirocco has passed through the hands of VW enthusiast at some point, perhaps even one of you guys, as someone has taken the effort to renew all the pipes etc on the Pierburg carb and it runs spot on; unlike the Cavalier I had back in the 80s with a similar one fitted. Anyway, good to be here, look forward to chatting with some of you.
