Mad automotive weekend

Post by Brunty » Mon Jan 19, 2015 12:46 pm

It's that time of the year again!

I'm planning a bit of a mad car weekend -

Firstly a trackday at Donington Park on Friday, 13th March. I'm currently getting Flash ready :)

Chill on the Saturday, maybe wash the car...

Ultimate Dubs on the Sunday :)

I'll have a car on the Scirocco Owners Network stand. It was a great day last year, the weather was cold but with brilliantly blue skies!

Part one complete. Turned out to be a great (dry) day at Donington yesterday. Managed to keep up with many of the racing cars that were there treating it as a test day, so pretty chuffed all in all.

Now I need to change the gearbox for part two tomorrow

Was this you that was spotted by someone on the Register ???????

"Red Mk2 on the A6, heading towards Derby, near the turn off for Elvaston Castle. Only got a quick look as I was heading in the opposite direction (not in my GTX). No spotlights? Looked tidy."

Sounds like yours "No Spotlights & looked tidy"

Will have to see if any of the Scirocco Owners Club lot took any! Or Eefy for that matter...
