The plan is for the English attendees to meet at on the A1 at Washington services at 7am on Sunday 26th May, then convoy up to Bonny Scotland via A69, M6-A74(M) and then meet the Scottish members at the same services as last year (can't remember the name!). We can then convoy into Biggar and collect any others and enter the showground en mass!

Thoughts from others or any better plan?
we ll be joining the A69 near Brampton from the A689, there we can wait :shh: and pounce on the scirocco convoy!!

Do you have an eta for Abington just to give me an idea of when I need to leave the house.
It is about 12miles / 20 mins from Abington services to Biggar if this helps.

I'll be there Sunday only.
Saturday is out for me due to family commitments.
I lost a sister-in-law to cancer a few weeks back so all the younger members of the clan are having a gathering on Saturday before they do the Cancer Race for Life on Sunday.
I have been allowed to go to Biggar while they are doing their bit for charity in Glasgow.
So far they have raised just over £1000.00 so they have done well.

My time table for Sunday is as follows
Leave the house 07:30
Leave Bothwell services M74 @ 08:15
Leave Happendon services M74 @ 08:45
Arrive Abington M74 @ 09:00
Leave Abington heading to Biggar 09:30
I'll just be going round the car parks looking for lost scirocco's.
I can supply a mobile number if anyone wants to meet up before Abington.

Brilliant day with a total of thirteen cars at one point.
Many thanks to all for making it a cracking day.
Nice to meet all the old friends and make a lot more new ones.
Totally knackered and will post pictures tomorrow.

Apologies to those I missed, I thought I had a lot more but must have spent too much time talking and not enough taking.

Shame about the wheel s on that havanna Storm...!

Nice turn out, looking forward to the day I can just tour the country going to shows. But need a car I can tour around in. And time off. Guess I'll be in my 70s by then!
